Wedding took place on a breathtaking September weekend, where the Pacific Northwest revealed itself in its most vibrant and beautiful form. From the very beginning, Kelsey envisioned a design that felt rooted in the natural surroundings while still making a bold, artful statement. The result was a true floral explosion, where chartreuse and layered shades of pink echoed the richness of the season and seamlessly blended with the existing foliage of the venue. The design felt immersive and alive, as though the landscape itself had been elevated rather than replaced.

Every detail was approached with intention, creating a cohesive story from one element to the next. Table linens were selected to mirror the delicate floral pattern of Kelsey’s dress, while the bar wrap carried through the design language of the invitations, tying paper and space together in a thoughtful way. Even the smallest touches were considered, with specialty florals incorporated into cocktails and delicately placed atop whipped butter, transforming everyday elements into moments of beauty. During cocktail hour, guests were invited into a nostalgic experience with a curated display of their own wedding photos, accompanied by a simple yet powerful message: “remember the feeling.”

As the evening unfolded, the celebration shifted into something entirely playful and unexpected. The barn was transformed into a high-energy dance space with a whimsical “disco cowboy” theme, complete with a ceiling installation of balloons that created movement and dimension overhead. Guests were immersed in the experience with custom tambourines, neon light-up hats, playful tattoos, and pom-poms, turning the dance floor into a full expression of joy. Kelsey and Jon’s wedding was a perfect balance of natural beauty and intentional design, ending in a celebration that felt as vibrant and unforgettable as the season itself.
