Wedding was thoughtfully designed as a progression—one that began with refined, nostalgic elegance and unfolded into an unforgettable celebration. From the very beginning, they envisioned a day that felt timeless in atmosphere, yet modern and artistic in execution, creating a balance that felt both elevated and deeply personal.

The ceremony and dinner embraced an “elegant hotel on the lake” ambiance, at the iconic Woodmark Hotel, where the setting felt fresh, airy, and effortlessly sophisticated. A palette of white and chartreuse brought a crisp luminosity to the design, layered with subtle moments of intrigue. Ikebana-inspired centerpieces introduced a sculptural, artistic edge, while airy tulle was woven into the ceremony arrangements to soften and romanticize the space. Florals were further elevated with unexpected details—fruit adorned with delicate pearls—creating a composition that felt both refined and avant-garde. Hints of purple, Alex’s favorite color, were thoughtfully incorporated throughout, adding depth and a personal signature to the overall aesthetic. Subtle nods to their beloved dog, Oso, were woven throughout the design, adding warmth and meaning in a way that felt intimate rather than overt.

As the evening unfolded, the atmosphere shifted. What began as a serene and beautifully curated experience transformed into a vibrant, high-energy celebration. The reception came alive as guests filled the dance floor, the music carried through the space, and the night took on a momentum of its own.
